Cisco Catalyst 38500 series switches provide intelligent, simple, and highly secure converged access through an integrated wireless controller. Cisco Catalyst 3850 series WS-C3850-24P-L switches are LAN Base L2 switches with Stackable 24 10/100/1000 Ethernet PoE+ ports, a 715WAC power supply, and 1 RU. Each switching entity of the Cisco Catalyst 3850 series WS-C3850-24P-L (switch or stack) can support up to 100 wireless access points and 2000 wireless clients. Moreover, with the upgradeable LAN base IOS image, the Cisco Catalyst 3850 series WS-C3850-24P-L switches are designed for an access layer with 255 VLANs and IEEE 802.3at POE+ standard support.
