This line card is fully compatible with Cisco ASR 5000 series platforms, including ASR 5001, ASR 5006, ASR 5010, and ASR 5020 chassis.
It ships with a Cisco-approved single-mode SFP+ transceiver rated for up to 10 km link distance over single-mode fiber.
Power down the ASR 5000, slide the line card into an available I/O slot, secure the ejector levers, then power up and verify in the router CLI.
