The ASR5K-00-PWGN01RM is a PGW+GGSN Inter-RAT Mobility Bundle that supports up to 1,000 sessions, part of Cisco's ASR 5000 Series. The PGW (Packet data network GateWay) and GGSN (Gateway GPRS Support Node) components are integral for modern 4G and 3G network data routing, respectively. Inter-RAT (Radio Access Technology) Mobility refers to the easy handover of data connection from one type of network system to another (like 3G to 4G or vice versa), providing uninterrupted data services even when devices switch networks. This is useful in maintaining connectivity when a user's device moves out of a 4G service area and into a 3G service area. Operators can manage up to 1K concurrent sessions with this new Cisco bundle.
