The Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX series WS-C3560X-24P-L switch is a 24 Gigabit Ethernet POE+ port standalone switch in the LAN base feature set with no stacking option. Four optional network modules and license-base software features provide flexibility, scalability, and feature extensibility in order to reduce the cost of developing business needs. Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX series WS-C3560X-24P-L switch supports IEEE 802.3at standard to allocate up to 30 W power on each port in a total 435W POE budget to power up IP phones, wireless, and video; customers can specify the power setting on each port in the command line setting. Further, the Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX series WS-C3560X-24P-L switch is designed for enterprise access layer switching; however, customers can transparently upgrade the software feature by purchasing either an IP base license or an IP services license to activate layer 3 capability, with 1005 VLans supported.
