Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX series WS-C3560X-48P-S switches are designed for enterprise access/aggregation layer switching with 48 Gigabit Ethernet POE+ ports as a standalone switch in IP base feature set with no stacking option. Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX series WS-C3560X-48P-S switches support IEEE 802.3at standard to allocate up to 30W power on each port in a total 435W POE budget to power up IP phones, wireless, and video. However, customers can transparently upgrade the software feature by purchasing an IP services license to activate advanced layer 3 routing capability to fully support BGP, EIGRP, and OSFP routing.
