The 866723-B21 kit is specifically designed for the HPE Apollo XL230k server series with the corresponding FIO backplane and PCIe architecture.
By unlocking native NVMe over PCIe Gen3 lanes, the kit delivers sub-millisecond latency, up to 32,000 IOPS per drive, and sustained high throughput for data-intensive workloads.
With the 866723-B21 kit, the Apollo XL230k server can support up to 24 NVMe U.2 drives across its FIO backplane.
