CWDM-MUX8A efficiently multiplexed eight wavelengths with minimal insertion loss.
Strong channel separation and reliable signal quality.
Integrated smoothly into our CWDM backbone.
Consistent throughput across all channels.
Dependable 8-channel MUX/DEMUX for metro networks.
Stable optical filtering with predictable results.
Reliable bandwidth consolidation across shared fiber.
The CWDM-MUX8A is a passive optical module that multiplexes and demultiplexes eight Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) signals onto a single fiber, enabling scalable, high-capacity transport in metropolitan and access networks.
The CWDM-MUX8A supports eight ITU-T G.694.2 wavelengths: 1270 nm, 1290 nm, 1310 nm, 1330 nm, 1350 nm, 1370 nm, 1390 nm and 1410 nm with 20 nm channel spacing.
The module employs standard 20 nm channel spacing between each of the eight CWDM wavelengths, ensuring minimal crosstalk and stable signal separation.
Typical insertion loss is ≤ 3.0 dB per channel, with a maximum of 4.0 dB, optimizing link budget for long-haul and metro applications.
