A 4-channel EWDM OADM module is a passive optical add-drop multiplexer that supports four discrete Enhanced Wavelength Division Multiplexing channels, enabling precise insertion and extraction of specific wavelengths for scalable, high-performance fiber-optic networks.
The EWDM-OADM4 offers low insertion loss (≤1.7 dB), high isolation (>40 dB), support for four EWDM wavelengths, wide operating temperature (–40 °C to +85 °C), and standard LC/UPC connectors for reliable metro and access deployments.
By selectively adding and dropping four wavelengths, the EWDM-OADM4 reduces channel congestion, optimizes bandwidth, and minimizes signal degradation, resulting in higher throughput, lower latency, and simplified network expansion.
The typical insertion loss is ≤1.7 dB per channel, ensuring minimal signal attenuation and consistent optical performance in high-density multiplexing scenarios.
