The CWDM-OADM1-1490 is a passive optical add/drop multiplexer that inserts and extracts only the 1490 nm CWDM channel on a single-mode fiber link, enabling cost-efficient wavelength management.
This module is ideal for metro, access, FTTH and campus networks where a single 1490 nm data or video channel must be added or dropped without disrupting other CWDM wavelengths.
It demultiplexes upstream 1490 nm traffic from the CWDM trunk to a local drop port and multiplexes local 1490 nm signals back onto the trunk, isolating other CWDM channels.
Typical insertion loss is ≤1.0 dB; channel isolation is ≥30 dB; and adjacent-channel crosstalk is ≤–25 dB, ensuring high signal integrity.
