The WDM-SFP-2CH-CONV is a 2-channel WDM SFP transponder that multiplexes two client signals onto separate wavelengths for transmission over a single fiber, then demultiplexes and converts them back at the far end.
It supports any industry-standard SFP data rate up to 10 Gbps and protocols such as Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, SDH/SONET and STM-1/OC-3, determined by the installed SFP transceivers.
Wavelength support depends on your SFP modules. The unit accepts CWDM (1270–1610 nm) and DWDM ITU-grid SFPs, enabling flexible channel selection per your network plan.
Transmission distance is defined by the SFP transceivers used. Typical CWDM range is 20–40 km; DWDM modules can reach 80–120 km over standard single-mode fiber.
