It is a passive CWDM add/drop multiplexer that simultaneously adds and drops two independent 1610 nm channels with no external power required.
It uses athermal fused-fiber technology to pass through the CWDM trunk while isolating, dropping, and adding 1610 nm traffic on dedicated ports with minimal loss.
This OADM module is optimized for the ITU-G.694.2 CWDM channel at 1610 nm with a ±6.5 nm tolerance.
Typical insertion loss is 1.0 dB per add/drop channel, with a maximum of 1.5 dB under full-spec conditions.
