The Catalyst 3850 48P-S supports IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standards, automatically detecting and delivering required power levels to connected devices.
The 3850-48P-S includes four fixed 10Gb SFP+ uplink ports and supports Cisco StackWise-480 technology, enabling up to nine switches to operate as a single logical unit with 480 Gbps stacking bandwidth.
