The BL460c Gen9 (SKU 868024-S01) includes dual Intel Xeon E5-2640 v4 2.4 GHz 10-core processors, up to 1.5 TB DDR4 SmartMemory across 24 DIMM slots, optional M.2 or SD storage, HPE FlexibleLOM networking, integrated iLO 4 management and requires an HPE BladeSystem c7000 or c3000 enclosure.
It uses two Intel Xeon E5-2640 v4 CPUs (2.4 GHz base, 3.4 GHz turbo, 10 cores/20 threads each) delivering up to 40 threads of compute for virtualization, database and cloud workloads.
The blade supports up to 1.5 TB of DDR4 SmartMemory using up to 24 Trusted Platform Modules with RDIMM or LRDIMM DIMMs (up to 64 GB per slot) at speeds up to 2400 MT/s for maximum performance.
It supports two hot-plug M.2 SATA drives or dual SD cards for hypervisor boot, plus external shared storage via the c7000 enclosure’s SAS interconnect modules.
