The Cisco ASR1000-ESP10-N is an Embedded Services Processor for the ASR 1000 Series, delivering up to 10 Gbps of scalable performance for advanced routing, security and service integration.
The ESP10 module supports up to 10 Gbps of full-featured throughput, enabling high-performance WAN aggregation, VPN and advanced services without performance degradation.
The ESP10 is compatible with all Cisco ASR 1000 Series routers that feature an ESP slot, including ASR 1001, ASR 1002, ASR 1002-X, ASR 1004, ASR 1006 and ASR 1013 models.
Power down the ASR 1000 router, insert the ESP10 into the designated ESP slot, secure the module with captive screws and power the router back on. The router auto-detects and configures the processor.
