E1 interface card supported high density deployments.
Stable synchronization across ports.
Good choice for telecom access.
Easy installation.
Reliable operation.
Met project needs.
The CR2D000IE111 is a high-density interface card providing 32 independent 120 ohm balanced E1 ports. Designed for telecom and data-carrier applications, it enables voice, video and data transport over TDM networks with robust signaling and synchronization.
This card is compatible with standard chassis from leading telecom vendors supporting CompactPCI, MicroTCA or custom backplane designs. Check your system’s expansion slot specs to confirm 3U/6U form-factor and power supply compatibility.
Power down your host chassis, slide the card into an available E1 slot, secure the bracket with two screws, then reconnect power. The card’s LEDs will indicate link status; follow your system guide for any BIOS or firmware updates.
It supports ITU-T G.704 framing, G.823/G.825 clock recovery, HDB3 line coding and Q.921 LAP-D data link. These standards ensure interoperability with PDH switches, routers and multiplexers.
Use the host management software or SNMP MIB to select either internal oscillator, network-derived clock or external reference. Ports can operate in master, slave or adaptive clock modes per ITU-T recommendations.
Connect each 120 ohm E1 circuit via RJ-45 or terminal block, depending on your backplane wiring. Use shielded twisted-pair E1 cable rated for 120 ohm impedance to maintain signal integrity.
Leverage SNMP v2c/v3 MIBs or the onboard CLI to view real-time alarms, error counters (BERR, CRC, FAS) and throughput metrics. LED indicators provide immediate link-up and activity feedback.
Each E1 port delivers up to 2.048 Mbps gross rate, supporting 32 channels of 64 kbps time slots. Aggregate bandwidth across 32 ports reaches 65.536 Mbps for TDM applications.
Yes. You can deploy dual cards in protected slots, enabling automatic failover via SFP or clock redundancy. The firmware handles hitless switchover to maintain continuous service.
Operating temperature: 0 °C to 55 °C; storage: –40 °C to 85 °C; humidity: up to 95% non-condensing. Power consumption is 8 W typical. Check your chassis capacity for 3 A @ 3.3 V and 200 mA @ 12 V.
Most modern telecom OS platforms include built-in drivers. If not, download the latest driver package from our support portal. Install via your host OS package manager or CLI instructions.
The card includes a 3-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Optional extended support agreements offer 24/7 technical hotline access, next-business-day replacement and on-site maintenance.
Verify cable impedance and termination, ensure proper clock source configuration, inspect LED alarms, and analyze error counters via SNMP or CLI. Refer to our troubleshooting guide for step-by-step diagnostics.
The card meets CE, FCC Class A, RoHS and UL 60950-1 standards. It’s designed for industrial and telecom environments, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety.
120 ohm E1 interfaces use balanced twisted-pair lines for traditional TDM networks, offering lower crosstalk and higher immunity to noise. 75 ohm variants serve coax-based applications like CATV or HD-SDI.
