These tapes are compatible with standard 8mm (Exabyte) tape drives, including models such as EXB-8200, EXB-8500 and similar legacy 8mm libraries.
They deliver sequential native transfer rates between 0.5 MB/s and 1.2 MB/s, and up to 2.4 MB/s with 2:1 compression.
When stored under recommended conditions, these tapes maintain data integrity for 10–15 years, making them suitable for long-term archiving.
