The FIC-2LINE-S-BYPASS is a 2-link LC/UPC singlemode optical interface bypass protect card that monitors fiber links and automatically redirects traffic to maintain network uptime.
Key features include dual singlemode LC/UPC ports, auto‐bypass on power loss or link failure, sub-1 dB insertion loss, hot-swappable design, and transparent Layer 1 protection.
Upon link interruption or power loss, the card’s onboard relay instantly bridges input and output ports, preserving traffic flow until the optical link is restored.
The card is compatible with standard 1 RU FIC chassis and most industry-standard fiber protection enclosures supporting LC singlemode modules.
