The Cisco 10000 Series BB USER SERVICES UPGRADE 16K-32K is a permanent license that doubles the subscriber capacity from 16,000 to 32,000 on supported Cisco 10000 Series broadband service routers.
This upgrade is supported on Cisco 10000 Series broadband routers running IOS XR 6.0 or later, including ASR 1001, ASR 1002 and ASR 1004 chassis.
Once installed via Cisco Smart Licensing, the 16K-32K license instantly unlocks additional user capacity without changing hardware or interrupting service.
The 16K capacity supports up to 16,000 simultaneous subscribers, while the 32K capacity supports up to 32,000, providing twice the scale for broadband services.
