The HP 1-port Power Injector J9407B is a standalone PoE midspan device that delivers up to 30 W of IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet to a single network endpoint, enabling powered operation of IP phones, cameras, and wireless access points without a local power adapter.
The HP J9407B supports all IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) compliant devices, including IP phones, wireless access points, security cameras, VoIP handsets, and other low-voltage Ethernet-powered equipment.
The HP J9407B delivers 48 V DC at up to 0.625 A (30 W) per port, fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards to ensure efficient power management and broad device compatibility.
To install, connect the injector’s data input to your network switch or router, then link the PoE output to your device using a Cat5e or higher cable. Power on the injector and confirm the link LED is steady green.
