The Huawei OceanStor S2600T V1 Device Management License (SKU: LIC-S2A-ISM02-UNIFY) is a perpetual software key that activates advanced device-level management, monitoring, configuration and RESTful API support on the OceanStor Unified S2600T system.
This license is specifically for the Huawei OceanStor Unified S2600T series. It must be applied to each S2600T chassis to enable full DeviceManager functionality and CLI management features.
Once activated, it unlocks the OceanStor DeviceManager dashboard, health and performance monitoring, threshold alerts, configuration backup/restore, firmware push, automation scripts and RESTful API access.
Log in to the OceanStor DeviceManager web console, navigate to License Management, click “Add License”, upload the license file or enter the key string, then confirm to enable management features.
The Device Management License is a perpetual, one-time purchase. It remains valid for the life of the hardware, with optional Software Maintenance Service (SMS) for updates and support.
While the license itself does not expire, you can renew the Huawei Software Maintenance Service (SMS) contract annually to receive firmware updates, patches and technical support.
Firmware upgrade capabilities are managed through DeviceManager. A valid SMS contract is required for accessing official firmware releases; the license itself does not restrict upgrades.
