The MPC-3D-16XGE-SFPP supports 16 SFP+ ports, each capable of 10 Gbps full-duplex operation.

It delivers full-scale Layer 2/2.5 features including VLAN, Q-in-Q, STP, ERPS, LAG, and MPLS label switching.
It provides reduced-scale Layer 3 functions—static routing plus OSPF and BGP with limited route-table capacity.
This line card is compatible with MX Series routers equipped with 3D programmable line card slots, such as MX960 and MX480.
It delivers up to 160 Gbps of wire-rate throughput (line-rate forwarding across all 16 ports).
