The PTX-5-100G-WDM PIC is a passive photonic integrated circuit that multiplexes five 100 Gbit/s channels onto a single fiber using 100 GHz DWDM for compact, high-capacity optical transport.
The module supports five independent 100 Gbit/s channels, delivering an aggregate line rate of 500 Gbit/s over a single fiber pair.
The PIC operates in the ITU-T C-band (1530 nm–1565 nm) with standard 100 GHz (0.8 nm) channel spacing aligned to the DWDM grid.
Typical insertion loss is ≤10 dB for the full 5-channel assembly, ensuring minimal impact on system power budget when used with standard 100G transponders.
