LEARNA Cisco ONS compatible XFP is a hot-pluggable 10G small form-factor pluggable optical transceiver designed for Cisco Optical Networking Systems (ONS), supporting network extension up to 10 Gbps.
The Cisco ONS compatible XFP supports 9.95 Gbps to 11.3 Gbps line rates, fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ae and ITU-T G.959.1 standards.
Reach varies by model: up to 10 km on single-mode fiber (1310 nm), up to 40 km (1310 nm), and up to 80 km or 120 km on 1550 nm wavelengths.
Cisco ONS XFP modules support single-mode fiber (SMF) at 1310 nm and 1550 nm, and multimode fiber (MMF) at 850 nm, depending on the selected model.
