HPE Compatible XFP modules work with HPE switches, routers, and firewalls that feature XFP ports—such as the HPE 5900, 5500, and 8800 series—for guaranteed interoperability.
HPE Compatible XFP modules deliver 10Gbps full-duplex performance over distances from 300m (multimode) up to 80km (single-mode), depending on the selected wavelength.
Select single-mode XFP for long-haul links (10–80km) using SMF, and multimode XFP for short-distance connections (up to 300m) on OM3/OM4 fiber to optimize cost and performance.
