WS-C3560CPD-8PT-S combines a powered-device input role with power-sourcing access ports; confirm that pass-through configuration when matching an existing installation.
WS-C3560CPD-8PT-S supports browser-based device manager, CLI through console, Telnet or SSH, Cisco Network Assistant, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, CiscoView, SNMP applications, and Cisco Configuration Engine. SSH requires a cryptographic image. Select the management method during staging and confirm the intended image before ordering replacement units.

IP Base is the included software image for WS-C3560CPD-8PT-S, and the Catalyst 3560-C feature set cannot be upgraded. OSPF is included for routed access. Specify required routing functions before ordering; a different software tier is not a supported upgrade path for this model.
The Catalyst 3560-C PD switch shares 23.8W with Cisco UPOE input or 15.4W with two PoE+ inputs; one PoE+ input leaves no downstream PoE budget. Each access port supports 15.4W PoE, not PoE+. Size the upstream power source against the total attached endpoint load before ordering.
