The WS-X4593-E is compatible with Cisco Catalyst 4503, 4506, 4507R, and 4510R chassis that support dual or single Supervisor engines and have available module slots for a FE linecard.
Power down the chassis, slide the WS-X4593-E line card into an available module slot, secure the retention screws, then power up the chassis. The module will be auto-detected by the supervisor engine.
