The 8G-ER-C59-BR1-C is an 8 Gbps CWDM SFP transceiver that operates at 1590 nm for up to 40 km over single-mode fiber, fully compatible with Brocade Fibre Channel switches.
This SFP is validated on Brocade Gen 5 and Gen 6 platforms, including the G610, G620, G630, G640, G650, DCX-4S, DCX-8, and the M6505 directors.
When paired with ITU-T G.652 single-mode fiber, the 8G-ER-C59-BR1-C reliably supports links up to 40 km.
