The MSL2024 ships with two internal LTO-7 SAS drives and accommodates up to 24 cartridge slots in its base enclosure.
Each LTO-7 tape offers 6 TB native capacity and up to 15 TB compressed capacity (2.5:1 ratio) for efficient long-term storage.
The library uses dual 6 Gb/s SAS interfaces, delivering up to 300 MB/s sustained throughput per drive for fast backup and restore.
