The HPE AM495A 1/8 G2 Autoloader with MSL Encryption Kit PL-3C is an automated tape library solution featuring eight LTO tape slots, an integrated LTO-7/8 drive and AES-256 hardware encryption for secure data backup.
The autoloader supports LTO-7 and LTO-8 tape cartridges, offering up to 6 TB native (15 TB compressed) per cartridge with dual-format compatibility.
The PL-3C encryption kit uses AES-256 hardware encryption and is validated to FIPS 140-2 Level 3 for industry-grade data security.
Install the PL-3C module into the designated slot on the tape drive assembly, then enable encryption and manage keys via the embedded Web UI.
