128 Gbps switching capacity supports the standalone access-switch traffic fabric. 95.23 Mpps forwarding handles 64-byte packets at the rated packet-processing limit. Full OSPF, EIGRP and IS-ISv4 support routed-access designs; OSPFv3 and EIGRPv6 handle IPv6 routing, while PIM-SM and SSM support multicast forwarding. C9200-24T-A carries 4 GB of DRAM and 4 GB of flash, with 6 MB packet buffers for transient traffic queues. The UADP 2.0 Mini ASIC handles forwarding. A total IPv4 scale of 14000 routes includes 10000 direct and 4000 indirect entries, so connected-address demand and learned-route demand require separate sizing. WebUI and console or SSH CLI provide local administration; Cisco Catalyst Center and the Meraki dashboard provide centralized management paths. MACsec uses AES-128 encryption on this hardware. An SD-Access Embedded Wireless Controller is not supported. NETCONF and RESTCONF expose configuration interfaces using YANG models, allowing automation requirements to be specified alongside the management mode and software release.
C9200-24T-A is offered new sealed or certified refurbished, with ORM warranties of up to a 3-year extended term for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units; both conditions include 30-day returns, terms apply. Mixed Catalyst 9200L stack membership
C9200-24T-A cannot join a stack containing Catalyst 9200L switches. Stack membership must remain within compatible C9200 models at the same license level; replacing individual members does not enable mixed stacking.
More than four virtual networks
C9200-24T-A supports four virtual networks. C9200-24PB-A supports 32 virtual networks and also changes the access configuration to PoE+; enhanced-VN and standard-VN models cannot share a stack.

C9200 identifies the series, 24 identifies the access-port count, T identifies the data-only configuration, and A identifies the network license tier. The part number does not specify an installed uplink module; that selection is a separate order item.
C9200-24T-A supports WebUI, CLI through console or SSH, Cisco Catalyst Center, Meraki dashboard management, and NETCONF/RESTCONF APIs. Cloud configuration offers read-only Cloud CLI; device configuration retains local settings with read/write Cloud CLI. Match the intended management mode to the deployed software release and the purchased subscription before placing the order.
