C9200-24PXG-A identifies a Catalyst 9200 switch: C9200 names the family, 24 is the access-port count, PXG denotes the PoE+ configuration with eight multigigabit and sixteen 1G ports, and A means Network Advantage. The PID contains no fixed-uplink code; its uplink connection is selected separately through a compatible network module.
C9200-24PXG-A is managed through the CLI and web UI, with Cisco Catalyst Center and Meraki dashboard options. Local CLI access uses the RJ-45 or USB mini-Type B console. Centralized management and cloud monitoring depend on the subscription, management environment, and software release; local configuration does not require deploying Catalyst Center.
