At expiry, the switch can renew the add-on license, or the add-on license can be deactivated and the switch reloaded to continue with base license capabilities. Smart Licenses are transferable between the same types of devices. C9200 stacks support up to 8 members with the same license level, so every member needs its own matching port count and tier.
