128 Gbps switching capacity defines the standalone switching fabric, while 95.23 Mpps forwarding provides the packet-rate reference for 64-byte traffic. 208 Gbps switching capacity with stacking accommodates the stack connection; StackWise-80 stacks eight members with 80 Gbps stack bandwidth. The base number leaves licensing unspecified; C9200L-24T-4X-E carries Network Essentials, while C9200L-24T-4X-A carries Network Advantage.

C9200L-24T-4X replaces discontinued WS-C2960X-24TD-BA, WS-C2960X-24TD-L, WS-C2960X-24TD-L++, C1-C2960X-24TD-L and C1-C2960X-24TD-L++. Those predecessors reached end of sale on October 31, 2022. A migration order should specify the required network license and subscription rather than assume the older LAN Base software entitlement carries over.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Catalyst 9200L. C9200L-24T-4X therefore has no announced hardware end-of-sale milestone or named hardware replacement. Software release retirement dates are separate from hardware lifecycle dates and should not be treated as an announcement that the switch hardware is discontinued.
