CBS350-24XT-EU combines 10G copper connectivity with shared fiber uplinks in a managed, non-PoE switch for small-business networks. Twenty dedicated RJ-45 interfaces and four copper/SFP+ combo interfaces provide twenty-four active network connections; selecting fiber on a combo interface disables its paired copper connection. The fixed uplinks require no removable network module, and the full-width 1U chassis fits a standard equipment rack. This Cisco Business 350 model provides Layer 2+ switching and routing for separately powered equipment, rather than power delivery to endpoints. Unlike the discontinued CBS350-24P-4X-EU, which supplies PoE+ over Gigabit access ports, this configuration provides 10G copper links without endpoint power. The Cisco Business family combines these network functions with managed operation for buyers retaining an existing configuration or matching a hardware spare.

480 Gbps switching capacity accommodates the fixed interfaces, while 240 Mpps forwarding establishes the packet-rate limit for traffic planning. Static routing and RIP v2 support local IP forwarding; PBR selects next hops using IPv4 or IPv6 access control lists, with 990 static routes available. STP/RSTP/MSTP and LACP provide loop control and link aggregation. CBS350-24XT-EU carries 512 MB DRAM, 256 MB flash, and a 3 MB dynamically shared packet buffer, so burst handling uses a common pool rather than a reserved allowance per interface. The MAC address table holds 16000 entries, and VLAN separation supports 4094 simultaneous VLANs. A dedicated Gigabit out-of-band management port separates administrative access from user connections; Textview CLI and browser management provide configuration paths. 124.5W worst-case consumption establishes the electrical allowance, while four fans require an actively cooled installation rather than a silent location.
Specify CBS350-24XT-EU as new sealed or certified refurbished; ORM warranty is up to 3-year extended coverage for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units, with 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, optics bay recognition, PSU and fan status, and clean boot; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. Confirm the required condition and accessories on the purchase order. For enterprise and volume orders, PO accepted, Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement, and regional stock/RMA across UK, EU, US, and MEA.

An existing switch group that needs another member requires a stacking plan rather than a standalone patching schedule. Ring and chain topologies are supported, with active/standby stack control and automatic member numbering. Reserve interconnect interfaces, identify the intended control role, and specify the topology before placing the PO.
A branch separating staff, guest, and shared services into routed segments needs an interface plan as well as a port plan. The switch supports 128 IP interfaces, including VLAN interfaces, physical ports, link aggregation interfaces, and loopback interfaces. Specify the interface assignments and gateway design before ordering.
A staging bench preparing replacement equipment before a change window needs local handling of images and configuration files. The front-panel USB Type-A slot supports file and image management, while dual images keep separate software images available. Specify the required image, configuration handoff, and staging acceptance checks before the PO.
Endpoint power supplied over Ethernet
Powered endpoints require a separate power source because CBS350-24XT-EU supplies no PoE. Ethernet link speed does not change the absence of endpoint power.
Four additional dedicated fiber uplinks
The four SFP+ slots share interfaces with copper ports, so they cannot add four independent connections beyond the 24 active network interfaces. No additional dedicated fiber uplinks are present.
Ongoing vendor security maintenance
Vulnerability/security support ended October 29, 2025, despite later hardware support. C1300-24XT is the current replacement for deployments requiring a continuing software-maintenance lifecycle.

CBS350-24XT-EU combines CBS350 for Cisco Business 350, 24 for its network-interface count, XT for the 10G copper configuration, and EU for the regional ordering version. Four interfaces also offer shared SFP+ connectivity. EU covers the European Economic Area and additional supported markets; it is not a software license tier.
CBS350-24XT-EU supports a web interface over HTTP/HTTPS, Textview CLI through the console or SSH/Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard, and the Cisco Business mobile app. The dedicated Gigabit out-of-band management interface provides a separate administrative connection; choose the management method and access controls before deployment.
Yes, CBS350-24XT-EU reached end of sale on October 29, 2024, and its last date of support is October 31, 2029. Software maintenance and vulnerability/security support ended October 29, 2025. C1300-24XT is the current replacement, so remaining hardware support should not be treated as continuing security-fix coverage.
ORM Systems offers CBS350-24XT-EU new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to 3-year extended coverage for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units. Returns are available for 30 days in either condition; terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is separate, subject to eligibility, and ends October 31, 2029.
No additional switching license or subscription is required for CBS350-24XT-EU; its features are included with the hardware purchase. There are no separately ordered software tiers or minimum subscription terms for local switching. The EU suffix selects a regional ordering version, not a feature tier or renewable software entitlement.
CBS350-24XT-EU replaces the discontinued SX350X-24-K9-EU and SX550X-24-K9-EU, both of which reached end of sale on July 30, 2022. The migration path keeps a 24-port copper-oriented 10G configuration. CBS350-24XT-EU subsequently reached end of sale itself, and C1300-24XT is the current replacement for new hardware standardization.
CBS350-24XT-EU provides 24 active network connections: 20 dedicated 10G copper interfaces and four copper/SFP+ combo interfaces. Each combo interface accepts either its copper connection or its fiber connection, not both simultaneously. Using all four SFP+ slots leaves the 20 dedicated copper interfaces available for endpoints.
Yes, CBS350-24XT-EU supports hardware stacking with four members, managed as a single system. The interconnects use 10G fiber interfaces, and ring or chain topologies are supported. Reserve the intended stacking interfaces when planning uplinks and endpoint connections rather than assuming stacking adds separate front-panel data ports.
CBS350-24XT-EU supports SFP-10G-SR for multimode fiber and SFP-10G-LR for single-mode fiber; SFP-H10GB-CU1M is a supported 1 m copper-coax option. The optical link budget, fiber type, and required reach determine which connection to order. These parts use the shared SFP+ interfaces and do not add independent ports.
CBS350-24XT-EU supports static IPv4 routing, IPv6 routing, RIP v2, and PBR, with capacity for 990 static routes. PBR selects next hops using IPv4 or IPv6 access control lists. This routing set places the switch in the Layer 2+ category; match the required routing functions before specifying the hardware.
CBS350-24P-4X-EU supplies PoE+ on 24 Gigabit access ports, while CBS350-24XT-EU supplies no endpoint power and uses 10G copper interfaces. Both models are discontinued. The PoE model serves powered Gigabit endpoints; the 10G model serves separately powered equipment that needs faster copper connections, not electrical power from Ethernet.
CBS350-48XT-4X-EU provides 48 dedicated 10G copper ports and four dedicated SFP+ uplinks, while CBS350-24XT-EU uses 20 dedicated copper ports plus four copper/SFP+ combo interfaces. Both are discontinued, and the 48-port model has no current migration product. The former fits higher-density existing installations; the latter fits smaller copper footprints.
CBS350-24XT-EU is discontinued, while C1300-24XT is its current replacement in the Catalyst 1300 family. Both retain 24 copper-capable 10G connections with four shared SFP+ connections. Existing installations may need an exact CBS350 spare; new standardization projects should specify the current model rather than extending a discontinued hardware line.
