CBS350-8XT provides managed 10 Gigabit copper connectivity for small-business networks in a rack-mount 1U chassis. Six dedicated copper ports and two copper/SFP+ combo connections accommodate eight active data links; using fiber on a combo connection disables its paired copper interface. The Business 350 model operates at Layer 2+ and does not supply endpoint power. 160 Gbps switching capacity and 119.05 Mpps forwarding set the traffic envelope for sizing. CBS350-8XT supports Static routing, RIP v2, and PBR for local routing requirements. A shared 6 MB packet buffer accommodates traffic across the interfaces rather than reserving a separate buffer for each connection.
Specify CBS350-8XT as new sealed or certified refurbished and confirm condition before placing the purchase order. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, optics bay recognition, PSU and fan status, and clean boot; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. CBS350-8XT identifies a Business 350 managed switch with eight 10 Gigabit copper connections. CBS350 names the family, 8 indicates the port configuration, and XT identifies the 10 Gigabit copper variant. Two copper connections share their interfaces with the SFP+ slots.
CBS350-8XT supports web UI, CLI over SSH or Telnet, console access, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard, and Cisco Business mobile app management. Mobile-app setup requires firmware 3.1.1.7 or later and an existing Wi-Fi network. A dedicated Gigabit management port provides a separate administrative connection.

For a North American refresh, CBS350-8XT-NA is the corresponding regional order code rather than a different port or license configuration.
CBS350-8MP-2X supplies endpoint power, whereas CBS350-8XT does not; both models are discontinued. The powered model also has 2.5G access ports rather than 10G copper connections. Their configurations address powered access endpoints and externally powered 10G copper equipment, respectively, rather than identical endpoint requirements.
CBS350-8T-E-2G uses an external power supply, whereas CBS350-8XT has an internal AC supply; both are discontinued. The external-supply model also has Gigabit access ports rather than 10G copper. These configurations separate desktop Gigabit requirements from installations requiring higher-speed copper connections and an internal supply.
CBS350-12XT has twelve 10G copper connections compared with eight on CBS350-8XT; both are discontinued. Each has two SFP+ interfaces shared with copper connections. The twelve-port configuration accommodates a larger copper connection count, while the eight-port configuration addresses the smaller connection requirement.
Four supported Business 350 switches can form a hardware stack managed through one IP address. Ring and chain topologies use 10G fiber connections. The stack shares management and traffic forwarding across its members; reserve the participating interfaces and specify the interconnects needed for the intended physical layout.
