CBS350-24XT is a managed, non-PoE 10 Gigabit copper switch with Layer 2+ routing, 20 dedicated RJ-45 access ports, and four fixed copper/SFP+ combo uplinks. Each shared interface operates over copper or fiber, not both simultaneously. The Rack-Mount 1U chassis belongs to the Cisco Business 350 Series and serves small-business networks connecting computers, servers, printers, and other network devices. Copper and fiber connections support 1G or 10G operation, allowing compatible links to retain their existing speed. The discontinued CBS350-12XT has 12 copper network ports rather than 24, separating lower-density legacy installations from this model. A dedicated Gigabit out-of-band management port provides administrative connectivity independently of the network connections, while the RJ-45 console supports local access.

480 Gbps switching capacity supports traffic across the network interfaces, and 240 Mpps forwarding describes handling of 64-byte packets. Static routing and RIP v2 enable inter-VLAN communication; PBR directs selected traffic toward configured next hops. The routing configuration permits 990 static routes and 128 IP interfaces, including interfaces on physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLANs, and loopbacks. CBS350-24XT carries 512 MB DRAM and 256 MB flash to support switch operation and firmware storage. A 16000-entry MAC table accommodates learned endpoint addresses. Hardware stacking joins four members under a single management system and supports link aggregation across stack members. Four fans provide active cooling rather than fanless operation. 124.5W worst-case consumption at 220V establishes the chassis load for AC power planning, while the internal supply accepts 100-240V AC. The 0°C to 50°C operating range sets the environmental requirement for the installation location.

SFP-H10GB-CU1M provides a 1 m direct-attach connection for adjacent units, while active and standby control organize stack management. When several offices need a common configuration, text-editable configuration files support a shared staging baseline. CLI privilege levels 1, 7, and 15 separate administrative roles. CBS350-24XT does not supply endpoint power. C1300-24P-4X is a current PoE alternative with 24 Gigabit access ports, so copper endpoint speed also changes.

CBS350-24XT identifies Cisco Business 350, 24 network ports, and the XT 10 Gigabit copper configuration. Four SFP+ connections share copper ports rather than adding independent interfaces. A regional suffix selects the ordering region; CBS350-24XT-NA is the variant used for the United States.
CBS350-24XT supports a web UI, CLI through console, SSH or Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard, the Cisco Business mobile app, and Cisco Network Plug and Play. The dedicated Gigabit management connection provides administrative access independently of endpoint connections; select the required management paths before staging units.
CBS350-24XT is discontinued in the United States, with end of sale on October 29, 2024, and a last support date of October 31, 2029. Software maintenance and vulnerability/security support ended October 29, 2025. C1300-24XT is the current replacement for the North American ordering variant.
CBS350-24XT requires no separately purchased license or subscription; its switching and routing features accompany the hardware. No tier selection or minimum subscription term is needed for the switch itself. A new or certified refurbished order therefore does not require a switch software subscription line item.
CBS350-24XT replaces SX350X-24-K9-NA and SX550X-24-K9-NA through the CBS350-24XT-NA regional variant. Both older switches reached end of sale on July 30, 2022. CBS350-24XT is also discontinued, making C1300-24XT the current migration choice rather than an intermediate product for a new refresh.
CBS350-24XT provides 24 independent network connections: 20 dedicated copper ports and four copper/SFP+ combo interfaces. Each combo interface uses either its copper connection or its fiber connection, not both simultaneously. The separate Gigabit out-of-band management connection serves administration rather than adding an endpoint connection.
CBS350-24XT supports static routing, RIP v2, and PBR, placing this configuration in the Layer 2+ category. Static routing supports 990 routes and 128 IP interfaces. Routed interfaces can be configured on physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces, or loopbacks; size the intended configuration against those limits.
Selected Cisco Business 350 Series models, including CBS350-24XT, form hardware stacks of four members using 10G interfaces. Ring and chain arrangements are supported, together with active and standby stack control. Stack links occupy network interfaces, so reserve the necessary connections when specifying endpoint and uplink quantities.
Business 350 10G combo interfaces support SFP-10G-SR for multimode fiber and SFP-10G-LR for single-mode fiber. SFP-10G-LR supports a maximum distance of 10 km. For CBS350-24XT, select the transceiver against the fiber type and reach, and specify its PID separately from the switch.
CBS350-24P-4X supplies PoE+ to 24 Gigabit ports, whereas CBS350-24XT has non-PoE 10 Gigabit copper ports. The PoE model has a shared 195W budget. Both models are discontinued; the former serves legacy powered-endpoint installations, while the latter serves existing 10G copper environments with separately powered equipment.
CBS350-24XT has 24 copper network ports, whereas CBS350-12XT has 12. Both are discontinued copper 10 Gigabit configurations with shared fiber connections. The larger model addresses higher-density installed networks; the smaller model addresses lower connection counts when matching an existing legacy equipment configuration.
C1300-24XT is the current replacement, while CBS350-24XT is discontinued. Both configurations provide 24 copper 10 Gigabit ports with four shared SFP+ connections. For an installed-base replacement, match the existing CBS350 configuration; for a refresh that moves beyond the discontinued model, specify C1300-24XT.
New sealed and certified refurbished CBS350-24XT units carry separate ORM warranties: new coverage is up to a 3-year extended warranty; refurbished coverage is up to 1 year. Returns are 30 days for either condition, terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by the last support date, October 31, 2029.
