20 Gbps switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps forwarding support wire-speed switching. 67W of shared PoE power requires an aggregate endpoint allocation rather than maximum power on every powered port simultaneously. CBS350-8P-2G supports Static routing, RIP v2 and PBR. Hardware stacking is not supported. MGBSX1 supports multimode fiber connections.

Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, clean boot, PoE output under load on every powered port, optics bay recognition and PSU status; firmware is verified and configuration wiped to factory default. When replacing discontinued SG355-10P-K9-NA inventory, CBS350-8P-2G-NA is the North American migration model. The predecessor reached end of sale on October 30, 2021. Match the complete regional product number, review software-support requirements, and specify the required condition before issuing the replacement purchase order.
When a common configuration is staged before a multi-office rollout, administrative permissions need to match the intended operator roles. Cisco Business 350 supports CLI privilege levels 1, 7 and 15. Specify the access policy and approve the reusable configuration before issuing the hardware purchase order.
10G uplinks to distribution
The fixed combo uplinks operate at 1G, and no removable uplink card raises their speed. A 10G distribution connection cannot terminate directly on these uplinks.
Single-system hardware stacking
Hardware stacking is not supported on this model. Centralized management does not turn multiple units into one hardware stack with a shared forwarding and control system.
Ongoing vendor security fixes
Planned security support ended October 29, 2025. C1300-8P-E-2G is the current replacement for purchases requiring migration away from this discontinued model.

CBS350-8P-2G identifies the Business 350 family, eight Gigabit PoE+ access ports and two Gigabit copper/SFP combo uplinks. CBS350 is the family prefix, 8 is the access-port count, P identifies PoE+, and 2G identifies the two combo uplinks.
CBS350-8P-2G supports an HTTP/HTTPS web UI, Textview CLI, SSH, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard and the Cisco Business mobile app. An RJ-45 console connection and a Telnet client are also available.
CBS350-8P-2G reached end of sale on October 29, 2024. Planned software maintenance and security support ended October 29, 2025. Applicable Cisco service and warranty support ends October 31, 2029.
CBS350-8P-2G is offered new sealed or certified refurbished. Cisco's Limited Lifetime warranty is bounded by October 31, 2029, subject to eligibility. ORM provides up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units. Every condition has 30-day returns; terms apply.

Their end-of-sale date was October 30, 2021. SG355-10P-K9-KR maps to CBS350-8P-2G-EU; the other regional replacements retain their corresponding suffix.
CBS350-8P-2G has a 67W shared PoE budget, while discontinued CBS350-8FP-2G has 120W. The first model suits endpoint allocations within 67W; the higher-budget sibling accommodates a larger aggregate allocation. Both models are discontinued, rather than current-generation alternatives.
CBS350-8P-2G uses an internal AC supply, while discontinued CBS350-8P-E-2G uses an external adapter. The internal-supply model suits orders avoiding a separate power brick; the external-adapter variant suits installations already standardized on that power arrangement.
CBS350-8P-2G is discontinued, while C1300-8P-E-2G is its current replacement with external power. Existing Business 350 standardization can justify the older model; new migration purchases should use the Catalyst 1300 replacement and account for its external power arrangement.
CBS350-8P-2G allows only one active connection per combo uplink. Each RJ-45 connection shares its uplink with an SFP cage. Specify copper or fiber for each connection so the purchase order matches the cabling plan.
