Its full-width 1U chassis belongs to the Cisco Business 350 Series, which serves small-business networks requiring configurable switching rather than unmanaged connectivity. The closest powered sibling, CBS350-24P-4X, adds PoE+ with a shared 195W budget and is also discontinued. When replacing SG350X-24-K9-NA or SG550X-24-K9-NA inventory, the North American configuration continues their replacement path. Those older models reached end of sale on October 30, 2021, and July 30, 2022, respectively. Before the PO, identify the installed regional PID and confirm the required connection layout and replacement quantity.
When an existing installation needs a different physical stack layout, hardware stacking supports ring and chain arrangements with active and standby stack control. Cross-stack link aggregation is also available. Before ordering additional equipment, specify the intended topology, inter-switch connections, and links that must remain available for upstream connectivity.
When a rollout uses scripted configuration, the full CLI and menu-based CLI support privilege levels 1, 7, and 15. Staging can therefore include the intended account permissions rather than only physical connectivity checks. Before the PO, specify the staging quantity and identify the privilege level required by configuration scripts.
PoE power for connected endpoints
CBS350-24T-4X supplies no endpoint power. C1300-24P-4X is the current PoE migration model, retaining 24 Gigabit copper ports and four 10G SFP+ uplinks.
Five-member hardware stacks
CBS350-24T-4X hardware stacking is limited to four members. A requirement for five switches in one hardware stack exceeds that limit and requires a different stacking architecture.
Continuing security maintenance releases
North American CBS350-24T-4X security maintenance ended October 29, 2025. C1300-24T-4X is the current migration model to evaluate against the required security-support horizon.

CBS350-24T-4X identifies a Cisco Business 350 managed switch: CBS350 names the family, 24T identifies 24 non-PoE copper Gigabit ports, and 4X identifies four 10G SFP+ ports. The complete regional ordering PID adds a country-specific suffix; CBS350-24T-4X-NA is the North American variant.
Cisco Business 350 Series switches support a web interface over HTTP or HTTPS, CLI access through the RJ-45 console or SSH or Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard, and the Cisco Business mobile app. The web interface offers simple and advanced modes, and the switches include an embedded Dashboard probe.
CBS350-24T-4X-NA reached end of sale on October 29, 2024, and its replacement is C1300-24T-4X. North American software maintenance and security support ended October 29, 2025. Applicable Cisco service and support continue only within entitlement terms until the last date of support, October 31, 2029.

CBS350-24T-4X-NA replaces SG350X-24-K9-NA and SG550X-24-K9-NA. The older switches reached end of sale on October 30, 2021, and July 30, 2022, respectively. CBS350-24T-4X-NA is itself discontinued, so new migration planning should follow the chain forward to the current replacement, C1300-24T-4X.
CBS350-24T-4X supports SFP-10G-SR and SFP-10G-LR optics, plus SFP-H10GB-CU1M, SFP-H10GB-CU3M, and SFP-H10GB-CU5M direct-attach cables. Choose the accessory for the fiber type, required distance, or cable length. The four SFP+ cages are built into the chassis; they do not require an uplink expansion card.
A Cisco Business 350 hardware stack supports four members, and CBS350-24T-4X is a stacking-capable model. Stack connections use 10G fiber interfaces, with ring and chain arrangements available. Before adding equipment, confirm that the selected member model supports hardware stacking and reserve the necessary interfaces for inter-switch connections.
CBS350-24T-4X supports static IPv4 and IPv6 routing, RIP v2, and PBR. Its static IPv4 capacity is 990 routes, with 128 IP interfaces available. Routed interfaces can be configured on physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces, or loopback interfaces; size the routing configuration against those limits before ordering.
CBS350-24P-4X adds 24 PoE+ access ports with a shared 195W budget, while CBS350-24T-4X supplies no endpoint power. Both models are discontinued. The T model fits replacement requirements for independently powered endpoints; buyers needing switch-supplied power should follow the powered model's migration path to C1300-24P-4X.
CBS350-24T-4X has four 10G SFP+ uplinks, whereas CBS350-24T-4G has four 1G SFP uplinks. Both models are discontinued. CBS350-24T-4X uses an internal universal AC power supply accepting 100-240V AC, so an external power adapter is not required. The standard package includes a power cord and mounting kit. Specify the regional configuration and confirm the included accessories for the selected condition before placing the purchase order.
