Each combo interface supports either copper or fiber connectivity, rather than two simultaneous connections. The access ports connect independently powered endpoints and do not deliver PoE. The full-width 1U chassis belongs to the Cisco 350 Series for small-business networks. The discontinued SG350-52P adds PoE+ for buyers maintaining a powered legacy installation. As part of Cisco Small Business networking, this model connects desktops, servers and printers within a managed business LAN. Specify access-port patching and uplink media separately so the equipment order reflects the connections that will actually be populated.

104 Gbps switching capacity supports nonblocking traffic across the network interfaces. 77.38 Mpps forwarding at a 64-byte packet size provides the packet-processing figure for traffic sizing. 990 static IPv4 routes form the routing ceiling for predefined paths, while PBR selects next hops using IPv4 or IPv6 ACLs. SG350-52 combines 512 MB of DRAM with 256 MB of flash for operating software and stored configuration; its 3 MB packet buffer is shared across ports. A 16000-entry MAC table holds learned forwarding addresses. STP/RSTP/MSTP provide bridging loop control, while LACP groups physical interfaces into aggregated links. The 52-port Gigabit managed switch supports IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack operation plus DHCP server and relay functions. Browser configuration, Textview CLI and SNMP provide administration and monitoring paths. RIPv2 is not available on this model. 40.4W worst-case system draw at 110V supplies a voltage-specific power-planning figure. One fan provides active cooling within the 0°C to 50°C operating range.
