CBS350-12XS-UK carries 512 MB DRAM and 256 MB flash for control functions, plus a dynamically shared 3 MB packet buffer across all ports. The software supports 4,094 simultaneous VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP and LACP for segmentation, loop control and aggregated links. Within the Cisco Business portfolio, browser configuration offers simple and advanced modes; administrators can also use a scriptable full CLI or menu-based CLI. A separate Gigabit management interface provides management connectivity distinct from the data interfaces. SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3 support monitoring, while dual firmware images provide an alternative boot image during software changes. Four fans provide active cooling rather than a fanless design.
