CBS350-24T-4G-EU is a fanless, managed Gigabit access switch with 24 copper ports and four fixed 1G SFP uplinks in a 1U rack chassis. The Layer 2+ configuration connects independently powered computers, printers and servers in small-business networks. Cisco Business 350 switching supports separate voice and data VLANs, while port access authentication and guest VLANs provide controls for different endpoint categories. Unlike the discontinued CBS350-24P-4G-EU, this model provides no PoE+ output for attached devices. Private VLANs offer promiscuous, isolated and community port roles when connected devices must share infrastructure without unrestricted peer communication. The uplinks are built in rather than supplied through a removable network card.

56 Gbps switching capacity supports nonblocking switching across the built-in interfaces, and 41.66 Mpps forwarding rate describes 64-byte packet handling. Static routing, RIP v2 and PBR support local IP forwarding; hardware stacking is not available on this model. CBS350-24T-4G-EU uses 512 MB DRAM and 256 MB flash, with a 1.5 MB packet buffer dynamically shared across all ports. The 24-port Gigabit managed switch accommodates 16000 MAC addresses, establishing the address-population limit. STP, RSTP and MSTP provide spanning-tree choices, while LACP supports aggregated Ethernet links. Administration can use the browser interface or scriptable CLI, with SNMP for monitoring; Cisco Business Dashboard and the Cisco Business mobile app provide additional management paths. Eight hardware queues with strict-priority and weighted round-robin scheduling support traffic classification, while ingress policing and egress shaping control rates. Copper-link energy detection and cable-length sensing adjust power use according to link state and cabling.
ORM Systems supplies CBS350-24T-4G-EU new sealed or certified refurbished: new units carry up to a 3-year extended warranty, refurbished units up to 1 year, and both have 30-day returns; terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, including rated-speed port links and optics bay recognition, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Specify condition and accessories on the PO; Cisco's separate limited lifetime warranty ends October 31, 2029. POs are accepted, with Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement, and UK, EU, US and MEA stock/RMA handling for enterprise and volume orders.

When an office still uses a discontinued SG350-28-K9-EU or SG350-28-K9-KR, CBS350-24T-4G-EU is a direct replacement option. A discontinued SF350-24-K9-EU also migrates to this model. Keep the older part numbers on the refresh request and specify a configuration review before releasing the purchase order.
When several offices require the same baseline, text-editable configuration files can be prepared centrally and downloaded to individual switches. CLI privilege levels 1, 7 and 15 allow separate operator roles during rollout. Define site-specific changes and the required access privileges before specifying the batch on the purchase order.
When a spare switch must be validated before entering service, dual firmware images allow upgrade testing without relying on a single stored image. Firmware can be transferred through HTTP/HTTPS, TFTP or SCP over SSH. Specify the required firmware and a staged boot check before ordering the spare.
10G uplinks to distribution
CBS350-24T-4G-EU limits each fiber uplink to 1G. C1300-24T-4X retains 24 Gigabit access ports while providing four 10G SFP+ uplinks.
PoE power for connected endpoints
CBS350-24T-4G-EU supplies no power through its access ports. C1300-24P-4G provides 24 Gigabit PoE ports with four 1G SFP uplinks.
Hardware stacking across multiple switches
CBS350-24T-4G-EU cannot participate in a hardware stack. Centralized management does not add the shared forwarding or hardware failover available on stackable configurations.

CBS350-24T-4G-EU identifies a Cisco Business 350 managed switch: 24T denotes 24 copper 10/100/1000 ports, and 4G denotes four Gigabit SFP uplinks. EU is the regional ordering suffix covering the European Economic Area and other designated markets. The T configuration is non-PoE; EU does not identify a software license tier.
CBS350-24T-4G-EU is managed through an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, CLI through the RJ-45 console, SSH or Telnet, Cisco Business Dashboard, the Cisco Business mobile app, and SNMP versions 1, 2c or 3. Cisco Network Plug and Play and PnP Connect support provisioning; the embedded Dashboard probe runs on the switch.
Yes, CBS350-24T-4G-EU reached end of sale on October 29, 2024. Software maintenance and vulnerability/security support ended October 29, 2025, while hardware service and support can continue under applicable entitlement until October 31, 2029. The current migration model is C1300-24T-4G; discontinued status does not mean all hardware support has already ended.
ORM Systems offers CBS350-24T-4G-EU new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units. Returns are accepted within 30 days in either condition; terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by October 31, 2029, its last date of support.
CBS350-24T-4G-EU replaces the discontinued SG350-28-K9-EU, SG350-28-K9-KR and SF350-24-K9-EU. The two SG350 variants reached end of sale on October 30, 2021; the SF350 variant reached end of sale on January 29, 2023. These migration relationships identify the hardware replacement, not automatic configuration transfer.
MGBSX1 and MGBLX1 are compatible 1G fiber options for the Business 350 24-port Gigabit switch. MGBSX1 supports multimode fiber links up to 500 m, while MGBLX1 supports single-mode links up to 10 km. Specify the transceiver PID, fiber type and required link distance for each connection.
Yes, CBS350-24T-4G-EU supports inter-VLAN routing using static routes, RIP v2 and PBR. The switch supports up to 990 static routes and 128 IP interfaces, so those limits require separate checks. Physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces and loopback interfaces can serve as Layer 3 interfaces.
No, CBS350-24T-4G-EU does not support hardware stacking. The Business 350 series reserves that capability for specific 10G-uplink, multigigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet models. Cisco Business Dashboard can manage the switch, but centralized administration does not create the shared forwarding and hardware failover of a hardware stack.
No, CBS350-24T-4G-EU uses a fixed internal AC supply and has no redundant PSU bay. The supply accepts 100-240V AC at 50-60 Hz. The power cord and mounting kit accompany the standard package; they are not separately orderable spare accessories, so package contents should be specified with the order.
CBS350-24T-4G-EU is non-PoE, whereas the discontinued CBS350-24P-4G-EU offers 24 PoE+ ports sharing 195W. Both retain four 1G SFP uplinks. The non-PoE version suits independently powered endpoints; the PoE+ version suits existing CBS350 installations requiring switch-supplied power, subject to its shared budget.
CBS350-24T-4G-EU has four 1G SFP uplinks, while the discontinued CBS350-24T-4X-EU has four 10G SFP+ uplinks. Both provide 24 Gigabit copper access ports. Gigabit distribution connections fit the first configuration; existing 10G distribution links require the second configuration's higher-speed uplinks within the CBS350 family.
CBS350-24T-4G-EU is discontinued, while C1300-24T-4G is its current Catalyst 1300 migration model with the same 24 Gigabit access ports and four 1G SFP uplinks. Existing CBS350 standardization can justify the older model; a new-generation refresh specification should name C1300-24T-4G rather than assume a change in port count.
The Business 350 24-port non-PoE switch draws 25.91W at 110V AC or 25.63W at 220V AC under worst-case operation. These figures describe the switch itself, not a PoE endpoint budget. Use the figure matching the supply voltage when sizing circuit loading or UPS capacity for the installation.
