The JD492A-C 100BASE-BX10-U SFP Transceiver is an HP-compatible, bidirectional single-fiber module providing 100 Mbps Ethernet connectivity over distances up to 10 km.
This transceiver is fully compatible with HP ProCurve, Aruba and HPE FlexNetwork switches and routers that accept 100BASE-BX Uplink SFP modules.
It uses single-mode fiber (SMF) with a single SC connector for bidirectional transmission over one strand.
The module supports links up to 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) on standard single-mode fiber at 1310 nm transmit / 1550 nm receive wavelengths.
