The JNP-SFP-10G-BX40U-C is a Juniper-compatible SFP+ pluggable transceiver supporting 10GbE over single-mode fiber with TX 1270 nm, RX 1330 nm, and a reach of up to 40 km.
This SFP+ module is compatible with Juniper QFX, EX, MX series and most Cisco switches and routers that accept third-party SFP+ optics.
It requires single-mode fiber (OS2) with LC duplex connectors to achieve its specified 40 km transmission distance.
The transceiver transmits at 1270 nm and receives at 1330 nm, ensuring bi-directional traffic over a single strand of fiber.
