The HP D3700 enclosure supports up to 25 front-loading 2.5-inch hot-pluggable SAS drives for high-density storage.
The HP D3700 offers two external mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) 12 Gb/s ports for direct attachment to compatible Smart Array controllers.
When paired with an HP Smart Array controller, the D3700 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 for flexible data protection and performance.
