VMware NSX Data Center Advanced Desktop 10-Pack CCU is a capacity-based subscription that licenses up to 10 virtual desktops. It delivers advanced network virtualization, micro-segmentation and distributed security for desktop environments.
Advanced Desktop includes distributed firewall, L2 VPN, L4–L7 load balancing, logical routing, micro-segmentation, Network Detection and Response, and advanced security analytics.
The CCU (Concurrent Connection Unit) model licenses a fixed number of virtual desktop connections. You subscribe to a 10-pack CCU for the specified term and can manage that capacity pool across hosts.
Requires VMware vSphere 6.5 or later with ESXi hosts and vCenter Server. You also need an NSX Manager appliance, minimum 4 vCPUs, 12 GB RAM per appliance, and network connectivity to vCenter.
