The ONS-SI-GE-SX-C is a Cisco ONS-compatible Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver that delivers Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-SX) over 850 nm multimode fiber with an industrial temperature range (–40 °C to +85 °C).
It supports 1.25 Gbps data rate, 850 nm wavelength, up to 550 m on OM3 and 220 m on OM1 multimode fiber, LC duplex connector, Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), and operates from –40 °C to +85 °C.
This module is fully compatible with Cisco ONS 15454, 15600, 15900 and related optical networking platforms that accept SFP-1000BASE-SX transceivers.
Over OM3 multimode fiber, it supports up to 550 m; on OM2 it reaches 300 m, and on OM1 it supports up to 220 m at 1 Gbps.
