The appliance ships preinstalled with Windows Storage Server 2016 Standard, providing integrated data deduplication, flexible tiering and seamless Active Directory integration.
With 12 LFF bays, the HPE StoreEasy 1650 Expanded supports up to 192 TB raw capacity (12 × 16 TB drives) and delivers approximately 160 TB of usable capacity after parity-based resiliency.
This system supports a mix of LFF SATA and SAS HDDs, and SSDs for caching. You can deploy up to 12 enterprise-class 3.5″ drives in any combination for performance or capacity optimization.
