The Q8D29A spare kit includes one NS CS220G controller module, power supply unit, two 2.5-inch hot-swap HDD trays, two SATA SSD carriers, mounting brackets, screws and cable assemblies.
The Q8D29A NS CS220G spare kit is compatible with HPE StoreEasy 3850, HP ProLiant DL380 Gen10, Gen10 Plus and other Gen10 servers that support the CS220G storage controller.
Power down the server, remove the existing controller, slide in the Q8D29A controller module, connect power cables, insert HDD/SSD carriers into supported slots, then power on and verify in system BIOS.
The NS CS220G kit supports 2.5-inch SAS/SATA HDDs up to 14 TB and SAS/SATA SSDs up to 7.68 TB per drive, in both TLC and SLC configurations.
