The HPE NS CS420-X4 Kit (SKU Q8D51A) is a modular storage expansion solution that integrates a controller, redundant power supplies, HDD bays and SSD bays for HPE servers.
The kit includes an HPE CS420-X4 storage controller, two hot-plug power supplies, four 3.5" HDD drive bays, four 2.5" SSD drive bays, and installation brackets.
The CS420-X4 kit is compatible with HPE ProLiant DL360, DL380, DL385, DL560 and DL580 Gen10 servers with an available PCIe slot and drive bay support.
The kit supports up to four 3.5" HDDs (maximum 96 TB) and four 2.5" SSDs (maximum 30.72 TB), for a combined raw capacity of up to 126.72 TB.
