The HPE NS CS/SF 1TB Spare HDD (SKU Q8D73A) is a hot-pluggable 2.5-inch enterprise drive designed as a compatible replacement for HPE Network Storage, Converged Systems, and StoreFabric arrays.
SKU Q8D73A is compatible with HPE StoreOnce Backup appliances, HPE StoreFabric SAN switches, HPE ConvergedSystem, and HPE StoreVirtual/StoreServ arrays that accept 1TB 2.5-inch drives.
The drive uses a 12Gb/s SAS interface for high-throughput, low-latency connectivity in enterprise storage environments.
To install, power down the server if required, slide the drive into an empty hot-swap bay until it clicks, then verify recognition in the HPE management console.
